Talkable is an audible altimeter that talks to you. Rather than just beeping at preset altitudes like a regular audible, Talkable will read out your altitude as you cross thousand- and hundred-foot thresholds. This gives you far more information than a regular audible, helping you maintain altitude awareness at all times and lead that sick angle jump or get the perfect landing pattern without taking your eyes off the surrounding airspace. And don’t worry – it can also beep at preset altitudes.
Talkable settings are customised using the configuration file found on the the internal USB drive. Simply connnect your device to a computer or phone and edit your height presets, the number of altitude alerts, the volume of the alerts, and additional beeps to go along with the voice to make sure you never miss a break-off!
Talkable is rechargeable via USB C (cable not included), so you don’t need to worry about changing out batteries and losing fiddly compontents or breaking the battery case. Hold the button to get an audible announcement of your remaining battery level so that you never get caught short!

I have been using the Talkable on all my jumps for about a year now, and I can’t imagine jumping without it now! Super easy to use, and I find it the most useful for under canopy.

The Talkable is consistently clear and accurate, allowing me to improve my situational awareness on every skydive in both freefall and under canopy.
I’m able to give more time and attention to my students as the Talkable lets you know it’s working throughout the jump, not just at the point when you ‘need’ it.
Under canopy, the constant altitude readouts mean I can observe my traffic and position while building up visual cues, helping to improve my accuracy.
Callum Systems are passionate about their products and the tech; I’m excited to see where they go next!

The Talkable is a game changing piece of kit. Having your audible call out your altitude helps with in air planning , especially if there are multiple phases of the jump, never be caught out by your break off beeps again! Also under canopy having the countdown helps develop accurate flight plans and target landings. 10/10 would recommend

As a tandem instructor, I always use my Talkable – it keeps me aware throughout the entire jump and helps me to keep my students safe. I can set beeps to remind me to pick up my secondaries and ask my students to lift their legs up for landing.
It also helps me maintain altitude awareness on my fun jumps, especially when switching between fun jumps and tandems – I can make sure I’m definitely altitude aware!
I’ve found that the battery lasts a while and sees me through a busy day of work. The voice is clear and easy to hear in freefall, and I like that I can customise the beeps, what altitudes are said and the volume.

Talkable gives skydivers a new level of altitude awareness! During climb your altitude beeps let you know when to remove seatbelts/restraints. On exit, it’s clear, loud and concise numbers tell you everything you need for your jammed freefall jump!
Under canopy the countdown gives you the information for your landing, swoop, or even your tandem students altitude awareness (when they ask what the numbers are!)
Finally with its built in logbook, talkable and Skytrax become the ultimate duo for all skydiving stats!
10/10, perfect product, well made and excellent customer service!

There are so many options for audible altimeters these days, whether talking or beeping, that it is a little overwhelming to decide which is the right one to get. The Talkable combines the best features into a compact audible that can do it all. I’ve jumped my Talkable since it first launched and have hundreds of jumps on it. It’s invaluable to me for every type of jumping I do, from AFF student jumps, to bigway formation jumps, and to fun jumps with friends. I always know my altitude! Caelum Systems is often improving the device an posting updates which are easily installed from their website. Now, if they only could help me pack faster!

If you want to be more altitude aware then you thought you could ever be get a talking audible altimeter. It will revolutionise your freefall experience. I’ve used a talking audible for nearly 2000 jumps now covering FS bigways, AFF Instructor jumps and on my wingsuit. I have two – one for each helmet and they’ve worked great every time.
I think I have been most grateful to have a Talkable in my helmet on the jumps where things don’t go quite as expected. Knowing your altitude at all times throughout these periods of higher stress is invaluable.

I’ve done over 1000 jumps with the talkable and its performed flawlessly. I use it for AFF, Tandems, Camera fun jumps but especially love it under canopy, I always know exactly what height I’m at so I can focus on my swoop

Having used the Talkable for over 500 jumps in the past year, I’ve found it invaluable for general altitude awareness both during freefall and under canopy.
It’s perfect for leading complex movement jumps, where you often have to make a decision whether to execute the final move or transition or redirect the group back to an appropriate opening spot, based on your current altitude.
On the one canopy ride I came close to chopping last year I had constant awareness of my altitude and proximity to my hard deck, allowing full focus on my canopy and surroundings instead of looking at my wrist every few seconds.
Talkable is informative without being a distraction. I use a standard audible for break-off beeps, and Talkable for general awareness. I have it configured such that I can half zone out to it but “focus my listening” when I want to know the altitude.

I use Talkable every day for camera /tandems and fun jumps, and I’m consistently impressed by its outstanding battery life and performance. It enhances my awareness of altitude, making it an invaluable tool. Plus, it offers great value for the quality, especially when compared to other options out there. The customer service is also top-notch, always going above and beyond.
